East Tennessee / North Georgia Repeaters

Some repeaters have a CTCSS/DCS tone on their output frequency. If a repeater utilizes CTCSS or DCS on its output, and your radio supports it, it is highly recommended you program your radio to utilize the feature. This will help eliminate unwanted interference. Also, some repeaters run in both digital (P.25, Fusion, etc.) and analog modes. When the repeater is running in digital mode, it generally does not transmit the CTCSS/DCS on the output. On mixed-mode repeaters, utilizing the output CTCSS/DCS in your radio will eliminate the digital noise/static from your radio when the repeater is running in digital mode!
